DENR Project TRANSFORM at Bohol Province
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) conducted a workshop for stakeholders from the civil society, local government, academe, and the private sector in formulating the Project TRANSFORM framework for the province of Bohol.
During the workshop, the participants were taught to identify and develop new and existing programs that will address human development, infrastructure concerns, and livelihood opportunities.
DENRโs Project TRANSFORM, or Transdisciplinary Approach for Resilience and Environmental Sustainability through Multistakeholder Engagement, engages the whole of society in implementing programs to alleviate poverty through green and blue jobs, enhance community resilience to the impacts of climate change, and promote strong public-private partnerships throughout the countryโs provinces, municipalities, and cities.
Pilot sites of Project TRANSFORM is in the city of Ormoc in Leyte, the municipalities of Limay, Mariveles, and Orion in Bataan, and the municipalities Malimono, San Francisco, and Burgos in Surigao del Norte.
