The Department of Environment and Natural Resources 7 headed by Paquito D. Melicor, Jr. Regional Executive Director in partnership with Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development headed by Dr. Maria Rosario Piquero Ballescas together with the Environmental Management Bureau 7 headed by Ma. Victoria V. Abrera, Mines and Geosciences Bureau 7 headed by Armando Malicse, Department of Social Welfare and Development 7 headed by Shalaine Marie S. Lucero, Department of Education and President of ARENA 7, Dr. Salustiano T. Jimenez, officialy launch the campaign for Love our Earth through a commitment signing.

Pinas the Basura Buster, the official mascot of the DENR is also present during the launching. Around 50 participants graced the blended campaign and showed support to this momentous activity.

"Keeping our trash in a plastic bottle is a very simple and doable thing to do to show our love to Mother Earth and shows a sign of discipline within us. After all, there is only one Earth and we cannot afford to destroy it." said RED Paquito D. Melicor Jr. in his message.
