1st Contractors Day 2022

“1st Contractors Day 2022” lead by DPWH-Siquijor District Engineering Office in partnership with DENR-7 thru PENRO Siquijor, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Army, Philippine National Police and the Provincial Government of Siquijor support LGU San Juan in the rejuvenation of Capilay Spring in San Juan (mud removal) aims to bring back it's crystal clear waters.

It is a well-known spring park, open-to-the-public swimming pool, located in the middle of the town plaza where everyone is free to take a dip in the cool waters to refresh you from the heat of the sun.

The contractors from the different companies support this activity in restoring this natural spring back to its former state.

Around 40 cubic meters or 12 truck load of silts were dislodged from the said spring. (RSCIG7)
