Philippine Arbor Day: Aksyon Para sa Natatanging Mundo

The DENR Central Visayas simultaneously celebrated the Philippine Arbor Day today 25 June 2022 in the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor in collaboration with the DENR CDD- NGP, Society of Filipino Foresters Inc (SFFI) Central Visayas and Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC)7.

DENR RO7 gathered around 442 eco planters from DENR RO7, EMB7, MGB7, PENRO Cebu, CENRO Cebu City, CRERDEC, SFFI and also our partners from other national government agencies and private stakeholders- DBM7, DOH7, DA7, PDEA7, DepEd Cebu Province, RAFI, PNP7, NTC7, PCAPI, Matluster Corporation, DOST7, NEDA7, BLGU San Nicolas Cebu City, EAGLES, PHILIPPINE ARMY, CIDG7, ROD7, GEP7. At least 1700 seedlings of narra, molave, and mamalis species were planted today in a three (3) hectares lot in Brgy Sunog, Balamban, Cebu.
