The day commenced with a solemn Morning Prayer led by EMS-II Rowena D. Magpiong, setting a tone of mindfulness and reverence for the natural world. OIC, MSD Morley P. Baguio delivered an inspiring opening message, highlighting the significance of the day's mission. Chief, CDS Kent Durangparang provided a comprehensive orientation on ICC, underlining its global importance.

EMS-I Cristy Ann N. Ricaborda played a crucial role by instructing participants on proper waste segregation and the meticulous recording and documentation required for the day's activities.

With the morning's guidance and motivation, the clean-up operation kicked off promptly at 6:00 a.m. Participants were equipped with labeled sacks to ensure the proper segregation of waste. The results were nothing short of remarkable – 18 sacks brimming with waste materials, collectively amounting to 270.5 kilograms, were gathered from SeΓ±ora River and its coastal mouth.
