DENR CENRO Argao in coordination with LGU-Argao joins the celebration of International Coastal Clean-up 2022, led by CENR Officer Nolito A. Lapinig and MENRO Flordeliza P. Geyrozaga through the conduct of coastal/ beach clean-up and underwater clean-up within marine sanctuary both located at Poblacion, Argao, Cebu, in participation of Coastal Conservation Education Foundation.
A total of 63 sacks of waste collected equivalent to 810 kilograms, composed of 25 sacks of plastics (250 kgs.), 8 sacks of glass(200 kgs.) and 30 sacks of biodegradable waste (360 kgs.). The participating groups are CENRO Argao staff and personnel, LGU-MENRO-Clean and Green, Bantay Dagat Commission, Poblacion Barangay Council headed by Barangay Captain Dario Canada, Barangay Health Workers, 4P’s beneficiaries and NGO- CCEF headed by Ranie Ybaῆez. A total of 108 participants.
