PENRO Siquijor conducted a coastal clean-up

In celebration of the Month of the Planet Earth, personnel of PENRO Siquijor conducted a coastal clean-up at Paliton, San Juan, Siquijor on April 22, 2022 headed by SEMS Paul V. Tomogsoc. The clean-up drive was participated by 68 male volunteers and 19 female volunteers from the Isla Del Fuego Eagles Club, Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office-Municipality of San Juan (MENRO), and the Parole and Probation Administration.

There was 90 kg of glass bottles, 34 kg of plastic bottles, and 164 kg of plastic wrappers making a total of 288 kilograms of trash collected.
