In line with the celebration of Month of the Ocean 2021, CENRO Cebu City led by CENR Officer Raul Pasoc together with CENRO Cebu City staff conducted a Coastal Clean-up and Scubasurero in Brgy. Molobolo, Tuburan, Cebu.

The activity is also participated by the DENR Regional Office divers from CMEMP and joined by the Tuburan MENR Officer Diosdada Asendiente and MENRO staff, Brgy. Sto. Niño Councils, Bantay Dagat, Tanod, and the community of the brgy Molobolo.

A total of 122kg of trash collected which are mostly composed of plastic cups/ bottles, glass bottles, sacks, clothes, slippers/rubber, cigarette butts, and plastic wrappers.

DENR Regional Office 7 family welcomes the newly installed Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services, ARD Charlie Fabre during the Monday program held in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City, April 26, 2021.

This ceremony is to turn over the Agroforestry, Assisted Natural Resources, and Conservation Farming plantations contracted on CY 2015-2017 with a total area of 287 has. to our partner People's Organizations.

The Philippines joins the international community in celebrating the International Day of Forests (IDF) every March 21. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), through the Forest Management Bureau (FMB), spearheads the celebration in the Philippines through various activities in partnership with various institutions to promote forestry themes.

In line with the theme of IDF 2021, “Forest Restoration: A Path to Recovery and Well-Being,” the FMB is conducting a Webinar on Forest Restoration: A Path to Recovery on 22 March 2021 and a Forest Wellness Week on 23-26 March 2021 to help raise awareness on the importance of forest restoration and valuable contribution of forests to human well-being and the post Covid-19 pandemic recovery.

With the directives of Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu to clean up all the water ways of all water bodies nationwide and to also celebrate the World Water Day 2021 , Cebu City Government accepts the challenge through quarterly cleanup of the eight (8) river systems in Metro Cebu.

This cleanup activity is in partnership with DENR7 EMB, DPWH7, Archdiocese of Cebu, altogether with the partners from Il Corso Filinvest Life Malls, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cebu Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Phil. Retailers Association Cebu Chapter in coordination with the Cities of Mandaue and Talisay and the solid support from private stakeholders CSOs, NGOs, the Interfaith Movement and private organizations.
