3-DAY SEA CHAMPIONS CAMP

In celebration of the Month of the Ocean with the theme “Protect and Restore Ecosystems and Biodiversity”, the DENR, Region 7 conducted a 3-Day Sea Champions Camp in Olango Island, Lapu-lapu City. Youth ages ranging from 18-25 joined the one of a lifetime camp filled with in-depth discussions and interactive activities with emphasis on education, protection, conservation and management of our marine biodiversity.

To strengthen the IEC advocacy and information dissemination of DENR7 priority programs and projects among the internal and external partners and stakeholders of the Department, the Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG), being the lead unit in the communications and public affairs of the office, also conducted an exhibit during the SEA Camp.
