Today, as we celebrate the ๐—ช๐—ข๐—ฅ๐—Ÿ๐—— ๐—ช๐—”๐—ง๐—˜๐—ฅ ๐——๐—”๐—ฌ with the theme: "๐™’๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง ๐™‹๐™š๐™–๐™˜๐™š: ๐™‹๐™–๐™œ๐™ ๐™–๐™ ๐™–๐™ž๐™จ๐™– ๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ค ๐™จ๐™– ๐™Ž๐™š๐™œ๐™ช๐™ง๐™ž๐™™๐™–๐™™ ๐™‹๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™—๐™ž๐™œ", the Bohol Provincial Environment Management Office (BPEMO) in collaboration with the DENR CENRO Tagbilaran City, PENRO Bohol, LGU Maribojoc and BLGU of Punta Cruz, Maribojoc joined hands in the coastal clean-up activity at the Maribojoc Uplifted Marine Terraces followed by an environmental forum held at the hall fronting Punta Cruz Watch Tower Maribojoc, Bohol.

The said activities are in observance to this significant occasion dedicated to raise awareness about the importance of water in our lives in which a total of 80 individuals actively participated and convened to help preserve and conserve the coastal waters of Maribojoc Uplifted Marine Terraces as this is one of the significant geosites recognized as National Geological Monument in Bohol.

As guided by this yearโ€™s theme focuses on the campaign highlighting water's pivotal role in fostering peace, prosperity, and conflict prevention, a forum was also conducted in which various resource persons imparted significant knowledge pertains to the brief discussion on the celebration, Bohol Island declaration as First UNESCO Geopark and the Importance of Ecological Solid Waste Management.
