Two key officials from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 7 hurdled the Special Career Executive Service (CES) Written Examination conducted last August 3 at the DENR Central Office Social Hall, Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.
The passers are regional technical directors (RTD) for Land Management Services (LMS) 7 Engr. Wilfredo C. Lee, and for Ecosystems Research Development Services (ERDS) Emma E. Melana.
"The office is even proudest of these achievements by our officials and we want to translate these by giving out prompt, professional, courteous, and sincere public service to our clients," said DENR 7 Regional Executive Director Dr. Isabelo R. Montejo.
Out of 55 examinees from all DENR offices including attached bureaus and agencies nationwide, 14 or 25.5 percent passed the said examination.
The examination for the executives covers verbal ability, analytical ability, and managerial ability which aims to measure the aptitude, job performance, managerial competence and faithful service of the applicants.
The Career Executive Service Written Examination (CES WE) is the first of the four-stage CES eligibility examination process, the passers will further undergo three screening processes which include assessment of managerial capabilities and competence through the Assessment Center (AC), validation of performance on-the-job and interview by the CES Board to acquire the CES Eligibility.
